WHEREAS, the majority in value of the property owners
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and sit-
uated in Annex Ao. 2 to Street Improvement Listrict No. 534
of the City of Little mock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose
of grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving Abigail
Street as therein set out, have petitioned the City Council of
the City of Little ,,ock, Arkansas, for the construction of said
improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon
the real property of said annex to said district according to
the benefits received; and
y�y°HREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot,
block and parcel of real property situated in said annex to
said district equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
r 'RLAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
51,100.00. '

the City of Little Rock, xrkansas:
Section 1. That said several lots, blocks and 2�arcels
of real property in said Annex No. 2 to Street Improvement District
No. 534 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be assessed
according to the assessment list for said improvement district
annex as the sane now remains in the office of the City Clerk,
and that twenty per centum (20%) of the assessment of benefits
on each of said lots, blocks and parcels of real estate shall
be paid annually on or before the 1st day of lay, of each year,
beginning with lay 1, 1941, until the whole of the said
local assessment of benefits shall be paid.

Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
