ORDINANCE N0. 6170
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR, AND MAKE PURCHASE OF, ALL THE
MATERIALS NECESSARY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRE.
STATION AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF
MARKHAM AND ELM STREETS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PRO-
VIDING THAT THE PURCHASES AUTHORIZED BY THIS ORDINANCE
SHOULD BE MADE OUT OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CONSTRUCTION
FUND, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY,THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise for bids for, and
make purchase of, all the materials necessary for the
construction of the Fire Station at the Southwest corner
of the intersection of Markham and Elm Streets in the City
of Little Rock at an aggregate cost not to exceed ten
thousand dollars ($10,000.00).
Section 2. The purchases authorized by this ordi-
nano* shall be paid for out of the Fire Department Con-
struction Fund.
Section 8. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
