AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR, AND MAKE PURCHASE OF, CERTAIN EQUIP-
MENT NEEDED FOR THE STREET DEPARTMENT TO BE PAID OUT OF THE
ROAD AND/OR AUTO FUNDS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby author -
ized and requested to advertise for bids for, and make purchase
of, the following items for the use by the Little Rock Street
Department:
(1) 8 -Ton Tandem (Gasoline Powered) Roller $ 3,500.00 to
(7) Small Tools and Miscellaneous Street 1,000.00
Repair Equipment
Section 2. The purchases authorized by this ordinance shall
be paid out of the road and /or auto funds of the City of Little
Rock, and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to
issue the warrantt of the City of Little Rock in payment of any
and all of the items mentioned above.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
