AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TWENTY DOLLARS PER MONTH OUT
OF THE GENERAL FUNDS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO PROVIDE
FOR THE CITY'S SHARE IN THE GIRLS WORK PROJECT OF THE
NATIONAL YOUTH ADMINISTRATION, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
Section 1. The sum of Twenty dollars per month is
hereby appropriated out of the General Funds of the City of
Little Rook to provide for the City's share in the Girls
Work Project of the National Youth Administration.
Section 2. The funds appropriated under the terms of
this ordinance shall be paid to the advisory Board of the
Girls' Project, National Youth Administrations and the
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue the
warrant of the City of Little Rook for said amounts; the
first payment shall be made on the tenth day of June, 1941,
and a like amount on the tenth day of each succeeding month
thereafter.
I Section S• The payments provided for under this or-
dinance shall continue until the City Council of Little
Rook, Arkansas ordains otherwise; but in no event shall the
total amount appropriated hereunder exceed a total of
Two Hundred Forty Dollars•
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
