AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT No. 562
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of two-
thirds in assessed value of the property located within the
,t=erritory hereinafter,described have filed a. petition praying i
that an improvement district be established for the purpose
hereinafter not out; and,
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard
allparties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that
said petition was signed by two- thirds in assessed value of
the owners of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an.1XWor -,.
merit district embracing the following described property:
Biginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 40 Block
24, Weldon E. Wright's Additon to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, thence East along the North property
lines of Lot 41 Block 240 of said Wright's Addtn ex-
tended East to the Northeast corner of,Lot 9, Block 11,
of said Wright's Addtn; thence South along the West
boundary line of State street to the Southeast corner
of Lot 10, Block 12 of said Wrightts Addtn; thence West
along the South lines of Lots 10 and 3. Block 12 of said
Wkghtts Addtn; to the West property line of Izard St;
thence South to the Southeast corner of Block 23 of said
Wright's Addtn; thence West to the Southwest corner of
said Block 23, thence North to point of beginning]
Said property w ithing the improvement district hereby
established consists of the following descrit6d`pr rty`t "
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, Block 11; Lots 1, 2, 3, 100 11 .:
and 12, Block 12; Allof Block 23, Lots 4 to 9, inclusive,
Block 24; all in Weldon E. Wright's Addtn to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
The purpose of the improvement district hereby estab-
lished is to drain, grade, curb, gutter, and pave the following
described street, to -wit:
West 19th Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
from the East property line of Chester S rest to the West
property line of State Street, eacluding'the intersection
at Izard Street,
in such manner and with such materials as the Board of Improve-
ment of said district may d sem for the best interests of the
district, subject to the approval of the City Engineer and City
Attorney.
Said district shall ,Po- known as Street Improvement
N2; and X." A.y. dhelman, C B.. Ravana and
John B. Marra are khreby named Commissioners, who shall compose
the Board of Improvement for said district.
Section 2. This Ordiaance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
