AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6187, PROHIBITING THE
DELIVERING BY COMMERCIAL BAKERIES OF BREAD AND BAKERS' PRODUCTS
ON SUNDAYS, PROVIDING FOR EMERGENCY DELIVERIES TO CAFES,
DECLARING VIOLATION TO THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE TO BE A
MISDEMEANOR, FIXING A PENALTY THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. It is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor for
any commercial manufacturer or.bakery of bread or bread products
or baking company employing three or more persons to make deliveries
on Sundays of its bread or bakery products; provided, however,
emergency deliveries of bread or bread products or baking company
products may be made to cafes up to Six o'olock P. M. on Sundays.
Section 2• On conviction in the municipal court of vio-
lating the terms of this ordinance, any person, firm or corporation
found guilty shall be fined in a sum of not less than Ten Dollars
($10.00) or more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) and each delivery on
Sunday shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
