6270• ORDINANCE NO. 62ZO AN ORDINANCE AMEWDING'SECTIONS ONE j1), TWO (2) AND SIX (6) OF ' DRDINANCE NUMBER 6260, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. Section One (1) of Ordinance No. 62'50 is hereby amended to read as follows: There is hereby levied an annual license fee upon all machines licensed by the State of Arkansas as follows, to wit: On each coin operated,penny weighing $1900 On each penny gum vender 1.00 On each United States stamp vender 1.00 On each cigarette vender 2:.50 operated On each combination cigar and cigarette vender 2.50 2.50 On each penny peanut vender 1000 coin On each music vending phonograph 5.00 On all other coin aperated devices for less than 5g 1.00 On all other coin operated devices for 5,j( or over 2.50 On all other coin operated venders for less than 5X 1.00 On all other coin operated venders for 5X or over 2.50 Amusement games 5.00 Automatic coin operated moving picture machines 10.00 Section Z. Section Two (2) of Ordinance no 6250 is hereby amended to read as follows:: Amusement games shall include such games as Radio Rifles, Miniature Football, Golf, Baseball, Hockey,Bumper, Tennis, Shooting Galleries, Pool Tables, Pin - Ball Tables, Bowling and other miniature games, whether or not it shows a score and not hereinafter excluded, and where the charge for playing is collected by a mechanical device, and the operation of say of said games &hall not be construed to be in violationof any of the laws of this State when operated in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. Automatice coin operated moving picture machines shall not be construed as amuse- went games wi-kkix for the purposes of tkiwxzz*:kiczzzxX taxation by this ordinance. Section 3. Section Six (6 ) of Ordinance no. 62150 is hereby amended to read as follows:The business of cling and operating one I i . ry or more amusement game-- as described in Section 2 hereof, is hereby declared to be a privilege end-the annual privilege tax for the operation of said business shall be the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty ($250.00) Dollars, which privilege tax shall be due and payable in advance to the City Collector for the City of Lit tle Rock on July 1st of each year, and no credit shall be allewed in time or money when said tax is paid for a shorter time than a fiscal year.. Any person, firm or corporation, operating any machines } herein referred to without the payment of said privilege tax, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than $250.00 nor more than $500.00. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its pas.-age and approval.
