AN ORDINANCE REDUCING THE ANNUAL RATE
OF COLLECTION OF ASSESSMENTS OF BENEFITS
IN STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 438.
WHEREAS., Street Improvement District No. 438 of the
City of Little Rock has a surplus of funds on hand and its
bonds are not callable in advance of maturity and the district
has been unable to retire any of its bonds prior to maturity,
soithat the district does not need to collect the present
assessment levied against its assessment of benefits;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That five per centum (5f) of the assess-
went of the value of the benefits on each of the lots, blocks
and parcels of real property in Street Improvement District
No. 438 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, shall be paid
annually on or before the 1st day of May each year, beginning
with the year 1942, until the whole of said assessment of
benefits shall have been paid.
Section 2. That all parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage.
