AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING T H� BENEFITS TO BE

SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS AND PARCELS OF LAND
WITHIN STREET II, HOTT T, iVTT DISTRICT ILM. 551
OF `ice CI'i'Y OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
t'TMRPAS, the majority of two- thirds in value of the
property owners owning property adjoining the locality to be
affected and situated in Street Improvement District No. 551
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose
of grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving Pine Street
as therein set out have petitioned the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of said
improvement, and the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the
real property of said District according to the benefits
received; and
'aMHEA.S, said benefits received by each and every lot,
block and parcel of real property situated in said District
equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and

IMEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
NOW, TMREFORE, BE IT ORDAIr4M by the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. 'i'hat the said several lots, blocks and
parcels of real property in said Street Improvement District
No. 551 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be assessed
according to the assessment list for said improvement district
as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk, and that
ten per centum (100/0) of the assessment of benefits of each of
said lots, blocks and parcels of real estate shall be paid
annually on or before the 1st day of November, of each year,
beginning with November 1, 1941, until the whole of the said
local assessment of benefits shall be paid.

Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force-and effect from and after its passage.
