FIXING A PENALTY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. From and after the passafre and approval of this
ordinance, when signs are erected in each block giving notice
thereof of limited parking, no person shall park a vehicle for
a longer time than hereafter designated at any time between
the hours of 8 :00 A. M. to 6 :00 P. .11. of any day except
Sunday and public holidays upon any of the streets as follows:
Broadway Street from Markham to 10th Streets in the City
of Little Rock- -One Hour
Section 2• Any person found guilty of violating the
provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor; each violation over the time stated in this
section shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 3. Any person found guilty of a misdemeanor
under the terms of this ordinance shall, upon conviction in
the Little Rock Municipal Court, be fined in any amount not
less than One Dollar (41.00) nor more than Five Dollars (45.00).
Section 4. The regulation of traffic upon the streets of the
City of Little Rock being a matter of great importance to the
citizens thereof, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
' after its passage and approval.
