hereby authorized to advertise for and receive bids for
material to be used in the makin.- of four hundred (400 )
reflectorizsd stop signs to replace the present mushroom
type stop buttons installed in the streets.
Section 2. +TF- EREAS, much criticism has been given by
the public on the mushroom type stop button %7hich is damming
automobiles and also the invisibility of these buttons at
night time es-e cially to persons from out -of -town vilD are
accustomed to the Stop Sign bein ,, erected on the side of the
street, and for the protection of the public peace, health,
and safety, an# emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
