ORDINANCE NO. 6336
AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE SALARIES OF THE CITY Ei' PLOYEES OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS..
Section 1. The salary of each employee of the City of
;'e. Moak shall be in for the month of December,, 1941,
in the amount of Twenty Dollars 020.00) for each employee.
Section 2. The salary increases mentioned in Section 1
of this ordinance shall not be applicable to the Aldermen, the
Mayor, the City Attorney, City Clerk, the Board of Public Affairs,
and the Civil Service Commission.
Section 3. The salary increases mentioned in Section 1 of
this ordinance shall be effective only during the month of
December, 1941.
Section 4. WHEREAS, the payment of salaries to City
employees is a matter that relates directly to the efficiency
of the City government, this ordinance is found to be necessary
for the public health, safety and welfare and an emergency is
hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
