AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING EIGHTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1, x00.00 )
FOR THE CITY'S PRO RATA SHARE OF THE EXPENSES OF THE PULASEI
COUNTY DEFENSE COUNCIL FOR THE YEAR 1942; AUTHORIZING THE CLERK
AND MYOR TO ISSUE THE QTY'S WARRANT TO JOSHUA K. SHEPHERD,
MIRMAN OF THE PULASKI COUNTY DEFENSE COUNCIL, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated as the City's
Pro rata share of the expenses of the Pulaski County Defense
Council for the year 1942 the sum of Eighteen Hundred Dollars
($l..900.00).. payable at the rate of $150.00 per month, the
first payment due February 10th, 1942, and $150.00 payable on
the 10th of each succeeding month thereafter until the whole
of $1.,900.00 is paid in fall,, and the Mayor and the City Clerk
are hereby authorized to issue the City's warrants to the
Pulaski County Defense Council, Joshua 8. Shepherd, Chairman.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full fares
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
