PROVIDING Ln,!ITED PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS; DECLARING
AN EIMGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIDE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
follows:
Parking Time Limited in Designated Places. (a) . When signs are
erected in each block giving notice thereof of limited parking, no person
shall park a vehicle for a longer time as designated at any time except
between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. of any day except Sunday and Public
Holidays within the district or upon any of the streets as follows:
Markham to 8th on Scott - One Hour
. Bridge to 10th on Main - Thirty Minutes
Markham to 8th on Louisiana - One hour

Cumberland to Center on 8th - One hour
Cumberland to Broadway on 7th - One hour
Cumberland to Center on 6th - One hour
Cumberland to Main on Capitol Ave. - One Hour
Main to Gaines on Capitol Ave. - Thirty Minutes
Cumberland to Center on 4th - One Hour
Cumberland to Center on 3rd - One Hour
Cumberland to Spr ing on 2nd - One Hour
Cumberland to Center on Markham - One Hour
Gaines -from 3rd to 4th - Two Hours
East side of Arch from 4th to Capitol Ave. - One Hour
West side of Arch from 4th to Capitol Ave. - Thirty Minutes
East side of Gaines from 4th to Capitol Ave. - Thirty Mites
South side of Markham from Woodrow to Booker - One Hour
(b).- Each violation over the time stated in this section
shall constitute a separate offense.

Section 2. WHEREAS, the parking of automobiles upon our
city streets is becoming more complex every day and should be
remedied with parking restrictions on busy streets, and said situation
should be remedied immediately, therefore an emergency is found to
exist and this ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and the same
shall be in full force and eff ect ' from and after its passage and
approval.
