AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A TEN MINUTE PASSENGIR ZONE
IN FRONT OF THE GAZETTE BUILDING, 112 WEST THIRD STBEETT;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITM
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. From and after the passage and approval of
this ordinance, it shall be unlawful to park for a longer period
of time exceeding ten minutes in front of the Gazette Building,
112 West Third street, in a zone extending thirty feet west of
the north alley on the north side of Third street.
Section 2. Signs will be erected giving notice to the
public that the space designated in front of the Gazette, 112
West Third street, will allow parking not to exceed ten minutes.
Section 3. WHEREAS, much inconvenience has resulted because
of automobiles being parked all day in front of said building,
and said situation should be remedied immediately, therefore an
emergency is found to exist and this ordinance is found to be
necessary for the immediate preservatim of the public peace,
health and safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
