AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6375 REQUIRING DEALERS IN
USED OR SECOND -HAND PNEUMATIC TIRES TO KEEP RECORDS AND MAKE
CBRTAIN REPORTS; FIXING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION; DECLARING AN
EMZRGENCY TO EXIST; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. From and after the passage of this ordinance,

Section 2. Every person, firm or corporation who purchases used
or second -hand rubber or pneumatic tires shall from and after the passage
and approval of this ordinance keep a well -bound book and record is said
book the serial numbers on all the rubber or pneumatic tires and t hs name
of the manufacturer of said tires purchased for resale and sold by said
dealer. Said book shall also record the person or persons from whom
said tees were bought and the datethereof and the person or persons to
whom said tires are sold and the address of such seller and purchaser.
Section 3. Each person, firm or corporation subject to the pro-
visions of Section 2 of this ordinance shall render to the Police
Department a written report on a form approved by the Police Departmmt,
which report shall be rendered daily and shall reflect the information
conducted in the above mentioned record book.
Section 4. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance and /or failing to obtain said record book
and the records therein and /or failing to render the report in the fashion
described above shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction in
the Little Rock Municipal Court shall be fined in any sum not less than
Five Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars (4500.00); and
every day that each violation continues shall constitute a separate off,
