AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5876, ESTABLISHING A LOADING ZONE
IN THIRTY (30) FEET ON THE NORTH SIDE OF EIGHTH STREET BETWEEN
MAIN AND SCOTT STREETS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, MAKING
VIOLATIONS A MISDEMEANOR, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST, AND

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSASs
Section 1• When signs are erected giving notice thereof,
thirty (30) feet on the north side of Eighth Street between
Main and Scott Streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north side of Eighth Street
between Main and Scott Streets in the City of Little Rock
at the point where the west line of the alley running
between Seventh and Eighth Streets intersects the north
line of Eighth Street thence running west thirty feet•
is hereby declared to be a loading zone, and no vehicle shall
be parked in said space for any purpose other than loading or
unloading of same.
Section 2• Any violation of Section 1 of this ordinance
shall constitute a misdemeanor and any person found guilty
thereof shall, on conviction in the Little Rook Municipal Court,
be fined in any sum not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor more
than Ten Dollars ($10.00).
Section 3. Ordinance No. 5876 is hereby amended in con-
formity with the provisions of Sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance.
Section 4• This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency measure, the necessity thereof being the immediate
preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens

from and after its passage and approval.
