AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE
FOR BIDS FOR AND MAKE A CONTRACT OR CONTRACTS TO REPAIR THE CLUB
HOUSE AT THE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO
EXIST AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COTTNCIL ,OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
Section 1. The board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
to advertise for bids for and make a contract or contra ^ts in the
manner provided by law to repair the clubhouse at the Little hock
Municipal Golf Course and to restore it to a condition of useful-
ness that existed before the damage occasioned by the recent
fire in said clubhouse.
Section 2. The recreation of the citizens of Little Flock
being vital to the public peace, health and safety, and the City
being under an obligation to provide facilities therefor, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
