AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ` ;AYOR AND THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRSTO
ADVERTISE FOR AND MAKE A CONTRACT FOR REPAIRS TO CERTAIN GARBAGE
TRUCKS AND FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO GARBAGE TRUCK BEDS, DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY TO EXIST AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
Section 1. The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs are hereby
authorized and directed to advertise for and make a contract for
the repairs needed by the three - arbagee trucks bearing the follow-
ing numbers; X -83, X -86, and X -90.
Section 2. The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs are hereby
authorized to advertise for and make purchase of two garbage truck
• beds.
Section 3. The efficient disposal of the garbage of the City
of Little Rock being necessary to the public peace, health and
safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
