AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF THE PAATNOLIA PETROLEUM COM*
PAiNY TO PURCHASE LOT 9 AND THE SOUTH HALF OF LOT 10, BLOCK 20,
PULASKI HBIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO CON'EY SAID PRO -ERTY
TO THE MAGNOLIA PETROLEUM COMPANY ON RECEIPT OF THE PURCHASE
PRICE, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN ABSTRACT OF 'TITLE TO SAID
REAL PROPERTY, DECLF:RING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED EY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. I'he City of Little Rock hereby accepts the Wer of
the Magnolia Petroleum Company to purchase from the City for the
sum of $7,500.00 the following lands located in the city of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lot Nine (9), and the South Half of Lot
Ten (10), Block Twenty (20), Pulaski
Heights Addition to the city of Little
Rock, Arkansas.
Section 2. l'he Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized iw
to c3nvev said real property* to the lia.rnolia Petroleum Company on
receipt by the City of Little Rock of said purchase price of
Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00).
Section 3. The Mayor is nereby authorized to purchase an
abstract of title, or to secure any necessary continuation of same
that may be required to evidence the title of the City to said
real property.
Section 4: The expeditious and rapid handling of the City's
business affairs being necessary to the public peace, health and
safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinanc
shall be in full force nd effect from and aftek its passage and 10
approval.
