AN ORDINANCE FIXII "JG THE SALARY OF AIRPORT ATTENDANTS AT THE LI ='TLE
ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AND CREATING TWO ADDITIONAL POSITIONS OF
AIRPORT ATTENDANTS, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AI111' FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
Section 1. From and after the passage of this ordinance all
persons commexcing work at the Little 'lock Yluxicipal Airport in the
capacity of airport attendant shall receive a salary of Seventy
Dollars (:70.00) per month, said salary shall be paid for the first
two full calendar months of the employment. Those persons who have
already worked as airport attendant for a period oi two full calendar
months or who may hereafter complete two full calendar months of
employment in said position shall be paid at the rate of Eighty Five
Dollars (wS5.00) per month.
Section 2. There. are hereby created two additional positions
of airport attendants at the Little hock Municipal Airport.
Sectiox 3. The persons,to fill the positions created by Sectiox
2 of this ordinance shall be chosen by the Civil Service Commissiox
in the manxer provided by law and shall be paid as other airport
attendants are paid.
Section 4. The eff�cient administration of the Little Rock
Municipal Airport being vital to the public peace, health amd safety,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
