PERSON TO INVESTIGATE THE.STATUS OF CERTAIN APPLICATIONS FOR
ASSISTANCE FROM FEDERAL FUNDS9 APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO

PURPOSESTHEREBY,
'DECLARING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCS,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorised to choose some
appropriate person to investigate the status of, and to expedite
if possible the various applications made by the City of Little
Rook for assistance with funds from the Federal Government in
completing the projects covered by said applications.
SECTION 2. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars is hereby
appropriated out of the general funds of the City of Little Rook
to defray the expenses of said person so chosen by the Mayor. The
May and City Clerk are authorised and directed to issue a
warrant of the city in said amount to said person.
SECTI01F S• The prompt administration of City affairs and
the obtaining of Federal assistance in various projects mentioned
above being vital to the public peace, health and safety, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
