AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
GRANT AN EASEMENT TO WAR EMERGENCY PIPE LINES, INC.
ACROSS CERTAIN LANDS OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCKS-
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND -FOR OTHER PURPOSES-
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

grant an easement to War Emergency Pipe Lines, Inc-, or to its
j successor or any person or persons designated by same, said
easement to be across the following lands located in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, to-wits
Part of Section 18 Township 1 North, Range 11 West, des-
cribed ast Beginning at NW corner Section 18 Township 1
North, Range 11 West, thence South along West line Section
18, 4051, thence east para1Tpl% to North line Section 18,
to East line of W-1, NEJ Section 18, thence North along
said west line to North line Section 18, thence west to
point of beginning,including all lots, blocks, streets,
and alleys of FACTORIA THIRD ADDITION, except the following:
North 551 of Lots 10 and 11 Block 20 FACTORIA THIRD ADDITION•
and
Lot 12 Block 21 FACTORIA THIRD ADDITION to City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The easement granted hereunder shall be for the
purpose of laying a pipe line below the surface of the earth.
SECTION 3r The prompt construction of a pipe line for the
purpose of transporting petroleum and petroleum products being

necessary for the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is hereby declared and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage ai
