AN ORDINANCE SUSPENDING AND REPEALING ORDINANCE
NO. 5605 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The provisions of Ordinance No. 5805 of
the ordinances of the city of Little Rook, Arkansas, are

was pen dad and repealed in their entirety; the sus-
pension and repeal to endure and last only so long as the
United States of America shall continue to remain at war
with any of the Nations between whom and the United States
of America a state of war now exists.
SECTION 2. The protettian of the citizens of Little
Rock, Arkansas from the ravages and destruction of fire
being vital to the public peace, health and safety, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
