AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
PURL ASE AN AUTOMOBILE FOR USE BY THE TRAFFIC BUREAU
OF THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPART:A :NT; DECLARING AN EMER-
GENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT`_' OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise for bids for and to
make purchase, in the manner provided by law, of one auto-
mobile for use by the Traffic Bureau of the Little Rock
Police Department, said car to be used for accident inves-
tigation and other purposes of the Traffic Bureau.
rLL SECTION 2.The efficient regulation of traffic on the
streets of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas being vital
to the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist; and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its pa.ssa „e and •
