AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY OF THE LINEMAN IP THE ELECTRIC
DEPARTMENT OF TF'_E CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. '
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The salary of the lineman in the Electric
Dopartment of the City of Little kook is hereby fixed at
s $145.00 per month to be paid as other salaries of the City. of '. N
Little Rock are' paid.
SECTION 2. The salary established in Section 1 of this
ordinance shall be effective as of and after January 1, 1943.
SECTION 3. The maintenance of efficiency in the operation
of the departments of the City by the payment of adequate wages
to the employees therein being vital to the public peace, health
and safety an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passa-e and approval.
