ORDINANCE NO 6531 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF VARIOUS EMPLOYES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE'CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The salaries mentioned in Section 1 of this ordinance shall be paid as of and after March let, 1943. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. Because the cost of living is rising every day, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
