AN ORDINANCE AY3NDING SUBSECTION B OF SECTION 60 OF ORDINANCE NO. 5876
OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1, Subsection B of Section 60 of Ordinance No. 5876
of
of the 41 7 'of Little Rock, Arkansas, is oreby
amended
to read as
follows:
"Every person who is convicted of a violation of this section
shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than ten days nor more
than one year, or by fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $1,000.00,
or by both such fine and imprisonment. On a second or subsequent con-
viction, he shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than 30 days
nor more than one year and in the discretion. of the court by a fine
of not more than $1,000.00. Whenever a person.is convicted of a
violation of this section, the clerk of the court shall report such
fact to the Commissioner of Revenues for the State of Arkansas ".
SECTION 2. The regulation of traffic on the streets of
Little Rock, Arkansas, being vital to the public peace, health and
safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist; and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
