AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONERS TO
SELECT A PART -TIME DIRECTOR OF PERSONNEL, FIXING THE SALARY
THEREFOR, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
of Little Rock, Arkansas, are hereby authorised and empowered
to select from among their number one person to discharge'
on a part -time basis the functions of a temporary personnel
director; and the person so chosen shall receive a salary
of $60.00 per month in addition to any other sum or sums
to which he may be entitled as a member of the Civil Service
Commission.
SECTION 2. The discharge of the duties of Personnel
Director being vital to the public peace, health and safety,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance ;

shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
