AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE ARKANSAS
MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY AND ANTIQUITIES, DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

Museum of
Natural History and Antiquities is hereby fixed
at $140.00 per month, payable like other salaries paid by
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2• The salary mentioned in section 1 of this
ordinance shall be payable as of and after April 1, 1948.
SECTION 8. The establishment of fair salaries and
adequate remuneration to the employees of the City of Little
Rook being vital to the public peace, health and safety,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be effective according to its terms from and after
its passage.
