AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO PURCHASE ONE ASPHALT SURFACE BURNER FOR USE
BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SWT10,N I. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby-
authorized authorized and directed to advertise for bids for and make
purchase, in the manner provided by law, of one asphalt
surface burner to be used by the Street Department of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The maintenance of the streets of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, being vital to the public peace,
health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
