AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO PURCHASE ONE TANK CAR OF MOSQUITO SPRAY OIL;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise for and make purchase, in the manner
provided by law, of one tank car of mosquito spray oil
for use in the Malaria control program.
SECTION 2. The broteation of the citizens of Little
Rock, Arkansas, from Malaria being vital to the public peace,
health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
