FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT,ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LI
.SECTION le The sum of Thirty-Five
DIRECTING THE PAYMENT THEREOF
ARISING OUT OF A LEASE BETWEEN,
PECLARING AN EMERGENCY1 AND
fTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Hundred Dollars ($3,500*00) is
Rook Arkansaij as follows:,
$2, 250s00 out of the Airport Construction Fund
1,250e00 out of the General Fund
$3,500*00 Total
Said amount shall be payable to Ve C. Johnson, and the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby directed to issue warrant or warrants on the funds
named in the amounts indicated to the said V. C. Johnson*
SECTION 2. The amount appropriated in Section 1 of this Ordinance
shall be in full and complete settlement of any and all claims possessed
by V. C# Johnson against the. City of Little Rook, Arkansas by virtue of
or in connection with a lease between V. C. Johnson and the City Of

ordinances of the City of Little Rook, Arkansas.
SECTION 39 Because litigation growing out of said lease is now
pending between V. C. Johnson and the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
and because an opportunity has arisen to settle said controversy im-
mediately; and because the City Council has found that it. is advantageous
to the City of Little Rook to settle this litigation and controversy
