ORDINANCE NO. 6C.,90 --
AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS TO BE
RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE
SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS AND PARCELS OF LAND
WITHIN STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 564
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the majority of two - thirds in value of the
property owners owning property adjoining the locality to be
affected and situated in Street Improvement District No. 564
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose
of grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving Polk Street
as therein set out have petitioned the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of said
improvement, and the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the
real property of said District according to the benefits
received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every
lot, block and parcel of real property situated in said District
equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
$2,000.00;
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by theCity Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks and
parcels of real property in said Street Improvement District
No. 564 of the City of LittleRock, Arkansas, be assessed accord-
ing to the assessment lisle for said improvement district as the
same now remains in the office of the City Clerk, and that
twenty per centum (20 %) of the assessment of benefits of each
of said lots, blocks and parcels of real estate shall be paid
annually on or before the 1st day of November of each year,
beginning with November 1, 1944, until the vh ole of the said
local assessment of benefits shall be paid.

Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
