AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE PURCHASE OF AN UNDERGROUND GASOLINE
TANK AND A NEW GASOLINE PUMP FOR THE FIRE DEPARTI:TEIJT ; DECLARING AN
EIIERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE HOCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to purchase, in the manner provided by lair, the follovr-
ing items for the Little Rock Fire Department:
1 - 250 - gallon gasoline tank to be placed underground
1 - gasoline pump suitable for refueling motorized
equipment in the Fire Department.
SECTI ^" ?. Because the above items are necessary for the
efficient functioning of the Fire Department; and because without
them the City does not enjoy* the maximum advantages fro.:, its Fire
Department, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance, being necessary for the public peace, health and safety,
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage.
