6700ORDINANCE NO. 6700 AN ORDINANCE CREATING CERTAIN NEW POSITIONS IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT; FIXING SALARIES FOR SANE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The following positions of employment in the Street Department are hereby created, said positions of employment being as follows: 1 Corporation Cut a Foreman k a a �.,�._. �47+5'© per month 1 Blacksmith 0 137.50 per`.month 3 Boiler Firemen i 137.50 per month 1 Painter Helper 6 137.50 per month 1 Asphalt Plant Foreman 0 147.50 per month SECTION 2. The persons to fill the positions created in Section 1 of this Ordinance shall be chosen by the Civil Service Commission in the manner provided by law; and such persons so chosen shall re- ceive the monthly salaries set opposite the positions of employment set out in Section 1 of this Ordinance; and shall be paid as other employees of the City are paid.
