BLOCK 9 OF C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKLNSAS.
ViTaREAS , a petition was duly filed with the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the 17th day of May, 1945,
asking the City Council to vacate and abandon all that portion of

the alley/ designated on the plat of the C. 0. Brack's ,Addition to`,..
said city now appearing of record in Plat Book No. 1, page 166, in
the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, be dinning at page 166
and ending at page 166.
Vt7ZRE.1S, after due notice as required by law, the Council
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, '-.earl all persons
desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the
alley or the portions thereof, hereinbefore described, has heretofore
been dedicated to the public use as an alley herein described, has
not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at
least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all the
owners of the property abutting upon the portion of the alley to be
vacated have filed v;ith the Council their written consent to such
abandonment; and that the public interest and welfare will not be
adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley.

Section 1. The City of Little Rock, ,rkansas hereby re-
leases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights
of the public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
A 21 -foot alley running north and south through Block
9 of C. 0. Brack's Addition to the City of Little Rock,
„rkunsas as shown on the plat of the C. 0. Brack's Addi-
tion to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas now appearing
of record in Plat Book No. 1 page 166, in the office of
the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, beginning at
page 166 and ending at page 166, e cept that the city
retains an easement to put in and ntain a--ewer line
in said alley.

Section 2. A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk'.shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of the county
and recorded in the deed records of the county.
Section 3" This ordinance shall take effect and be in
