AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE TJIAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A DEED CONVEYING LOT 11, BLOCK 6, POPE'S ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO HARRY HASTINGS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock owns lot 11, block 6, Pope's
addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found and hereby determines that
said real property is no longer needed by the City of Little Rock
in the discharge of its municipal functions, and
WHEREAS, Harry Hastings has offered to purchase said lot for
the sum of Three Thousand dollars, and
WHEREAS, The Council has found and hereby determines that the
sum of Three Thousand dollars represents the fair and reasonable value
of the above described real property, now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
SECTION 1. The liayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a deed in the name of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, conveying to Harry Hastings, the complete interest of
the City of Little Rock in and to the following real property
located in Little Rock, Arkansas, more particularily described
as follows, to wit;
Lot 11, Block 6, Pope's
Addition to the City of
Little Rock
SECTION 2. Said deed shall be executed and delivered by the
Idayor and City Clerk on receipt from the said Harry Hastings of
Three Thousand dollars.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
