AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING TO THE STATE HEALTH DEPARTMENT THE VITAL
STATISTICS RECORDS IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and direct-
ed to deliver to the State Health Officer of the State of Arkansas,
such of those records, now maintained in the office of the City
Clerk, pertaining to vital statistics as the State Health Officer
may request.
SECTION 2. Vital statistics include the records of births,
deaths, burial permits, and records of mortality, and any other
related records maintained in connection thereto.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
