STREET SWEEPER, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

SECTION 1. The City Engineer is

tely 100 pounds gutter broom wire.
SECTION 2. The blayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to issue the Warrant of the City to A. D. Brown, in
the sum of $3,250.00, drawn on an appropriate fund, and to pay
said Warrant to A. D. Brown when the above described equipment
is delivered to and accepted by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. Because the street sweeper, mentioned in Sec-
tion 1 of this ordinance, is necessary for the protection and main-
tenance of the city streets and because there is danger that the
city streets will deteriorate unless such a street sweeper is made
available at once, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and
this ordinance is found to be necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety and shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
