AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING T-1-71E LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER NORKS TO
EXTEND ITS '7wATER LINES IN ASHER AVENUE, ELM T. 27TH, OAK STREETS,
AND ROOSEVELT ROAD, and INSTALL TEN (10) FIRE TIYDRANTS THEREON,
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Municipal 'Mater `��orks proposes to
install a twelve (12 ") inch water pipe line as follows: Asher
Avenue, Lewis to Elm Streets; Elm Street, Asher Avenue to 27th
Street; 27th Street, Elm to Oak Streets; Oak Street, 27th to
Roosevelt Road; Roosevelt Road, Oak to Booker Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the Little Rock ,unicipal Water Works is
hereby ordered and directed to install ten (10) fire hydrants
connecting same to the proposed line at the following locations:
Elm and 'Nest 28th Streets
Elm and 1i est 27th streets
Oak and West 27th Streets
Roosevelt Road and Oak Street
Roosevelt Raod and -V".aple ,street
Roosevelt Road and Valentine Street
Roosevelt Road and Valimr Street
Roosevelt Road and Brown Street
Roosevelt Road and Allis Street
Roosevelt Road and Johnson Street
Section 2. That these hydrants are ordered and rates for
sane shall govern as set forth in Section 1, Article 3, of the
Trust Indenture, dated February 1, 1936, and a ;DTproved by City
Ordinance No. 5316, passed February 28, 1936, and as amended by
City Ordinance No. 5712, passed I,Iarch 22, 1939, and as amended
by City Ordinance 4o. 5914, passed June 10, 1940, and as amended
by City Ordinance No. 6824, passed September 10, 1945.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they con-
flict with this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
