ear and bus routes in the City of Little Rook, where they'may be of
comfort and convenience to persona while waiting for street ear or
bus end to the free use of the pv611st subject to the followings
SECTION 2. That J. Edwin Lowe, doing business as Southland
Bench Company,is hereby granted a five year franchise (Renewable at
the pleasure of the Council) to place artistic advertising benches
along street oar and bus routes in the city of Little Rock, and is
hereby granted permission to sell advertising space on the front and

4-eing business as Southland Bench Company, agrees to pay to the city
of`Little Rook City Collector the sum of Two Dollars sad Fifty Cents
($2..50) per year per bench, payable immediately upon the placing of
$aid bench. Before any of said benches are placed upon the streetcar
and bus routes in the city of Little Rook a permit amst be issued and

SECTION 3• That all benches to be placed by the said J. Ed.
*yin Lowe, Doing business as Southland Bench Company, will be accord.
tug to the plans and specifications set out in petition and on file
in the City Clerk's office. Each bench will be approximately ? feet
long and 2 feet wide, and the sides of benches will be made of solid
white concrete, and.seat and back trill be made out of seasoned wood
that will be painted with green or brown enamel, and any part of seat

at all times to be kept in first class condition and repair, no bench
will at any time while being repaired have any wet paint.
SECTION 4. That at no time during the existence of this son.

bus routes in the city of little Rook except the following in the
business districts of the city:
Excluding Main street from Markham to ninth street,
Excluding West Fifth set from Main to Spring,

Excluding East Markham from Main street to Rector Eve.
