AN ORDINANCE RE- CLASSIFYING LOT ONE(1) a.nd the NORTH TWO FEET (N 21) OF
LOT TWO (2), BLACK FIFTEEN (15), CENTENNIAL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LI'�-
'2LE ROCK; A:iENDIivG ORDINANCE NLE BEk 5420 OF SAID CITY; WAIVING THE LOT
AREA AND YARD SPACE REQUIRELIENTS OF SAID ORDINANCE; AND FOR O'�HER PUR-
POSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI`T'Y OF LITME ROCK, AF?LA:NTSAS:
SECTION 1. That Lot One (1) �_nd the north two feet (N 21) of Lot Two (21
Block Fifteen (15), Centennial Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
heretofore classified end zoned, under the terms of Ordinance No. 5420 of said
city, as and in "C" Two - family District, be, and it hereby is, re -zoned and re
classified as, and the same hereby is declared to be and placed in, "D" Apart-
ment District under the terms of said Ordinance No. 5420; and that the require-
menu and restrictions relating to lot area and yard space contained in pndim
posed by s,,id Ordinance Jo. 5420 be, and they hereby are, amended and modified
in respect of said lot, or parcel, of ground, to such extent and in such mannrr
as shall be necessary and sufficient to permit the addition to the one - family
dwelling house 1 rated on the rear of said parcel ._nd numbered 1513 West Four-
teenth Street of one room, the use a.nd occupancy henceforth of said dwelling
a,s a two - family dwelling, or duplex, end the contidued use and occupancy, as
heretofore and now, of the one - family dwelling looated on the front of said
lot and. numberd %� Bishpp Street; thus making on the said parcel two de-
tached dwellings, the first dwelling used and occupied by two families liv-
ing independently of each other and the second dwelling used and occupied by
one family living independently of each of the families occupying the first
dwelling.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 5420 and the zoning map thereto attached
as a part thereof, be, and they hereby a,re, amended in conformity with the
provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance; and said lot shall hereafter be
known, classified, and describwd as being, and it shall be, in the "D" Apart-
ment District under said Ordinance No. 5420, as amended.
SECTION 3. That the City Council of the City of Little Rock has deter-

mined, and it is hereby declr red, that all the pre - requisites to the lawful
pass, -ge of this ordinance have been duly complied with; P.nd this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
