A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 5, 2013, AS THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE PETITION TO RESCIND THE PLANNING
COMMISSION'S ACTION IN APPROVING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
TO ALLOW A BOARDING HOUSE/PAROLEE- PROBATIONER
HOUSING ON THE C -4 ZONED PROPERTY, LOCATED AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSTATE 30 SERVICE ROAD
AND BENANNA STREET (Z- 8806), LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the rescission of the Planning
Commission's action in approving a Special Use Permit to allow a boarding house /parolee - probationer
housing on the C -4 zoned property, located at the northeast corner of the Interstate 30 Service Road and
Benanna Street (Z- 8806), pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14-54-
104, in the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the petition to rescind the Planning Commission's approval of a request to
approve a Special Use Permit to allow a boarding house /parolee - probationer housing on the C -4 zoned
property, located at the northeast corner of the Interstate 30 Service Road and Benanna Street (Z- 8806),
shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City
Hall at six o'clock on the 5th day of February, 2013.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
