AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING AND AUTHORIZING THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR,
AND PURCHASE 7110 AUTO ?OBILES FOR US'1 BY THE CITY
HEALTH DEPARTIVMNT .
BE IT ORDAINED BY TF -7 CITY COUNCIL OF TT.L CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is
hereby authorized and directed to advertise, take bids
for, and purchase two 1946 automobiles for use by the
City Health Department.
SECTION 2. The cost of such automobiles shall
not exceed the sum of One Thousand Dollars 01000.00) each.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and
inasmuch as the transportation facilities now available
in the Health Department of the City of Little Rock are
in such condition that inspections of milk and dairy
products consumed by the citizens of Little Rock are
hampered, an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
