THE U. S.O. AT THIRD AND 11AIN STR ,,ETS IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TI1I1 CITY COUNCIL OF TII�'; CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to purchase from the Federal V,,rorks
Agency of the United States Government all of the furnish -
ings and equipment now located in the building formerly
occupied by the U.S.O. at Third and Mlain Streets in the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The cost of such equipment shall not
exceed Thirty -seven Hundred Fifty Dollars (3,750.00).
SECTION 3. Such equipment as is now located in
said building; has been examined by various city officials
and since the City is in dire need of this equipment in or-
der to preserve the public peace, health and safety of the
citizens of Little Rock, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect after its passage and approval, and all ordinan-
ces and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
