AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 7034 WHEREIN THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS GRANTED TO
GENERAL AGENCY, INC., THE RIGHT TO EXCAVATE AND USE THE
SPACE UNDERNEATH THE SIDEWALKS ALONG AND ADJACENT TO THE
WEST EIGHTY (80) FEET OF LOTS ONE (1), TWO (2) and THREE(3),
IN BLOCK ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) OF THE ORIGINAL CITY OF-
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR A- PERIOD OF NINETY -NINE (99)
YEARS FROM JUNE 17, 1946, FOR AN ANNUAL RENTAL OF
ONE DOLLAR ($1.00).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No.7034,.wherein the
City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, granted
to General Agency, Inc., the -right to excavate and use the
space ' underneath the sidewalks under and ada'acent to the
West and North sides of the West Eighty ($0) feet of Lots
One (1), Two (2) and Three (3) in Block One Hundred Twenty
(120) of the original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for
a period of ninety -nine (99) years from June 17,1946, is
hereby repealed and shall be forever held for naught.
SECTION 2. That a Lease Agreement entered into by
and between the Board of Public Affairs of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, acting in accordance and by direction
of the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
under said CTrdinance No.7034, and General Agency, Inc.,'
on the 21st day of June, 1946, is hereby cancelled, and the
same shall forever be held for naught.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance repealing Ordinance
No.7034 and cancelling the said Lease Agreement enacted
under Ordinance No.7034, is hereby enacted at the request
of General Agency, Inc., and that all rights, liabilities
or obligations accruing under or resulting from said in-
struments have been waived by General Agency, Inc-., and
are hereby waived by the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas.
