WHEREAS, In many parts of the City of Little Rock
owners of real property have allowed such
property to becor;_e run down,- delapidated,
unsafe, unsightly, dangerous, obnoxious and
detrimental to the Nublic welfare of the
citizens of the City of Little Rock, and
`s EE SEAS, The condition of this pro_erty is a serious
fire hazard and that unless immediate action
is taken to remedy t1:.issituation there is a
great likihood that the surrounding pro -
perty will be destroyed b4,- fire originating

persons as ray be necessary in orcer to inforce the provis-
ions of this ordinance, _nd to remedy the. dangerous and un-
sightly conditions brought about as a result of the failure
of the owners to rMperly keep up said property.
SECTION 3. All persons, firms, corporations
violating the provisions of this ordinance shall upon con-
viction thereof be fined in any sum not less than N25.00 nor
more than ��100.00.
SECTT017, 4. All ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith is hereby repealed and unless
the provision: of this ordinance are gut into effect immediate-
ly, the public peace, health and safety of the people of
Little Rock will be adversely affected, therefore an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect fror-_ and after its passage ,and approval.
