AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE BURIAL GROUND HERETOFORE EXISTING
IN THE OLD COUNTY HOSPITAL GROUNDS AND DECLARING
SAID PROPERTY SUBJECT TO TAXATION.
WHEREAS, by City Ordinance No. 7204 the City
Council did order and direct the County of Pulaski and the
County Judge thereof to remove all bodies from the Old County
Hospital site to a new burial ground outside the city limits;
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said ordinance all bod-
ies found within said plot have been removed: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY T HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFLITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Council does hereby declare
that that plot of ground in the Southwest corner of the
Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section Sixteen,
Township OneNorth, Range Twelve West, Pulaac i County, Arkansas,
heretofore used as a burial ground be and the same is hereby
declared to be vacated as a cemetery or burial ground and
that it is no longer a cemetery, and that same shall hereafter
become and be subject to taxation like other property.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage.
