ORDINANCE NO. 7250
AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AVID ABANDON THE ALLEY
IN BLOCK ONE (1), PERRY HEIGHTS ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 24th day of P,.arch ,
1947, asking the City Council to vacate and abandon that portion
of the Alley designated on the plat of Perry Heights Addition to
said City now appearing of record in Plat Book , Page-.,
in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County beginning at the
South line of Block One (1) Perry heights Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and ending at the North line of said Block
One (1) Perry heights Addition, being a distance of 280.8 feet.
V,MREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Council
s, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all
rsons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained
that the Alley hereinbefore described has heretofore been dedicated'
to the public use as an alley herein described; has not been
actuallyiused by the public generally for a period of at least
five (5) years; that all the owners of the property abutting upon
the Alley to be vacated have filed with the Council their written
consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare
will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley.
NOVI THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION.1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby re-
leases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
Irights of the public generally, in and to the alley designated as
follows:
The North and South Alley in Block One (1) Perry
Heights Addition to the City of Little Hock,
Arkansas, said alley being situated midway between
Tyler and Harrison Streets and running from
Maryland (Ninth) Street to West Eighth Street;
the plat of Perry Heights Addition to the City of
Little Kock, Arkansas.. now appearing of record in
Plat Book , Page , in the Office of
the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION.2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by
(the City Clerk shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of Pulaski
IlCounty,
SECTION.3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
iforce from and after its passage.
